Ms. Gaskari is an experienced litigator with substantial experience in both state and federal courts.  She is defense-focused and adept at facilitating settlements.  Her career began as a corporate litigator working primarily on securities litigation and product liability litigation cases.  Later her focus shifted to employment litigation and real estate litigation.  Ms. Gaskari’s substantial employment litigation experience includes discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination cases as well as wage and hour claims.  She has defended employers in investigations by the Civil Rights Department, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Labor & Workforce Development Agency.  Ms. Gaskari has experience with Private Attorney General Actions (“PAGA”) and the changing landscape of defending PAGA actions. Ms. Gaskari is also experienced in real estate litigation, including agent/broker defense, construction defects, and HOA disputes.  Her practice currently focuses on employment and real estate litigation.

While Ms. Gaskari does not currently practice International Law, she is a certified specialist in International Law.  She participated in the International Constitutional law course taught by Ruth Bader Ginsberg in Nice, France when she was in law school.  She speaks English and Farsi.
